Guy joined Howdens in April 2020 as Interim Group HR Director and was appointed Group HR Director and a member of the Executive Committee in February 2024. He has overall responsibility for all HR matters at Howdens.

Guy has previously run his own consultancy providing HR support to numerous privately-owned and publicly owned companies across a range of sectors including retail, healthcare, and hospitality. Prior to that he was HR Director of B&Q and Screwfix.
