Richard joined Howdens in January 2019 and was appointed to the Executive Committee in July 2020. Prior to joining Howdens, he was Director of Supply Chain at Screwfix. Before this, Richard held senior supply chain and business planning roles at Hobbycraft, Wyevale Garden Centres and B&Q.

Richard's role as Supply Chain Director encompasses optimising stock holdings across the business and ensuring Howdens maintains market leading stock availability. He is also leading the XDC project, which is delivering superior service levels and availability to depots.
