Executive Committee

The Executive Directors have delegated responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Group by the Board. In order to do so effectively, a group of senior employees is required to assist the Executive Directors carry out these delegated responsibilities – this group, along with the Executive Directors, is known as the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee implements the Group’s strategy (which has been agreed by the Board) and operational plans and monitors both the operational and financial performance of the business. It is also responsible for the optimisation of resources and the identification and control of operational risk within Group.
